What is it?
NAVE is an open innovation program of the ANP (Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) funded with resources from the Research, Development & Innovation clause of oil and natural gas exploration & production contracts.
The nine energy companies participating in the first edition of NAVE are: Petrogal Brasil, TotalEnergies, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Shell, ExxonMobil, Equinor, Repsol Sinopec, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), and Petrobras.
Following the technical cooperation agreement signed with the ANP and published on December 31, 2024, in the Official Gazette of the Union, the IBP (Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels) became the administrative and financial manager of NAVE.
What is the goal?

🤝Incentivar empresas da cadeia fornecedora;
🤖Desenvolver tecnologia em temas prioritários;
💬Induzir a cooperação entre ICTs e startups.
Primeira edição do NAVE em números :
✅261 inscrições válidas, 85% dos desafios (57 de 67) contemplados;
✅18 estados de 5 regiões brasileiras;
➡️ 21 startups selecionadas que atuarão em 19 desafios;
✅O macrotema “M3 – Tecnologias em transformação digital” registrou o maior número de inscrições válidas (104).
